THE NITTY GRITTY

I suppose it is difficult looking at holiday homes on the internet to get an idea of the size of rooms. Many things can be done nowadays with the crafy use of a camera so I think that giving the actual size of rooms gives potential guests a better notion of what they are getting.

We really enjoyed our family reunion ten of us Coughlans back in our home place for our mothers second anniversary only regret she never got to see it all renovated what we wouldnt have given for all those bathrooms growing up there! It was great to be back in the village and meet some of the people we grew up with. Thanks again for all your hospitality and the lovely homemade soup made it feel like really coming home. We had a great Coughlan family reunion, ten out of eleven not bad James in Australia, the occasion being our mother Elizabeths second anniversary. The house is great bright comfortable with happy vibes. We regret our mother never got to see it, what coukd be done with an old house with lots of bitty rooms and only one bathroom, still remember the morning rush the essence of the house remains though we will definately be back! Many thanks for your hospitality and the lovely home made soup. Catherine (Coughlan) McArdle the first born of the clan

Hi Catherine

Thanks for your lovely comments.

I was so nervous of you all arriving home in case you didn't like what we had done to the house during renovations and are delighted you loved you old home.

One of the first things we loved about Daisy Cottage was the happy atmosphere when we entered for that first time. It was obvious the people who lived there had been a happy family and now having met you and I know you were.

So glad you all enjoyed your trip down memory lane and we look forward to meeting you again.
